Educational Trave & Tours-Alaska  is a Haines based not-for-profit organization specializing in tours, trips, and special events such as the Spring Migration Celebration. All the tourist attractions, lodgings and restaurants that are promoted are members of local Chambers of Commerce and Convention & Visitor Bureaus.

Educational Travel & Tours-Alaska is a member of the Haines Chamber of Commerce and the Skagway Chamber of Commerce. John Venables is the Executive Director and is registered as sole proprietor. John V. is a member of the American Bald Eagle Foundation and the Sheldon Museum and Cultural Center. He has served as a docent at the Sheldon Museum and Cultural Center for three years and is a volunteer for the Southeast Alaska State Fair.

Educational Travel & Tours-Alaska is and will be operated under similiar guidelines estalished by the Internal Revenue Service for 501 (c) 3 organizations. There are no employees. Educational Travel & Tours-Alaska has business licenses for the State of Alaska, the Haines Borough, and the City of Skagway. Volunteer hours exceed 1,000 hours annually.

Alaska eCommerce Online is a network of twenty-five websites that cover the state of Alaska and facilitate travel and vacation planning. The World Heritage Park education links that are a part of the Alaska eCommerce Online provide comprehensive information on planning special trips. Headquarters for Alaska eCommerce Online is located at the Chilkat Eagle Bed & Breakfast in Haines, Alaska. This is also the main office for the John Muir in Alaska Association.
