           bird in the world, and is North America's
           largest waterfowl.
     facts    Wing spans are as much as six feet.
     facts    Long-term monogamous pairs form in the fall.
     facts    The Trumpeter Swan breeds in the western
           U.S. and southern Alaska in the spring.
     facts    Flocks winter along the coast of southern
            Alaska and Washington.
